Overview
DJI Mic 2
- For a truly wireless experience, conveniently attach the transmitters to whatever you’re wearing via the integrated back clips (or by using the clip magnets) without having to wire yourself or your talent.
- You can also hold the transmitters in your hand and use them as handheld microphones. Use the transmitters as a lavalier mic (no need for a separate mic), or operate them as traditional bodypack transmitters by plugging external lav mics (available separately).
- The built-in mics feature an omnidirectional pickup pattern that ensure reliable speech capture, even if mic placement is less than ideal; your subject’s voice is captured with clarity, intelligibility, and consistency.
- Two furry windscreens are provided to effectively suppress wind noise while still recording clear sound.
- Enjoy 6 hours of battery life on each component for 18 hours of recording in total.
- DJI Mic 2 allows you to record high-fidelity, professional audio by accurately reproducing tone across a wide frequency range. To ensure that you are capturing a clean signal, you can monitor your sound via the receiver’s 3.5mm headphone output while recording.
- The Safety Track mode enables you to record a secondary audio track (in mono) as a backup with a lower volume of -6 dB (different from the main audio track), helping to safeguard your audio in case of unforeseen level spikes.
- The transmitters have onboard recording capabilities with 8GB of storage for up to 14 hours of 48 kHz 24-bit backup recording. This allows you to record audio directly to the transmitters as a backup in case of wireless interference and dropouts. You can also use the transmitters as standalone recorders.
- Files are in 48 kHz/24-bit mono WAV format and can be transferred to your computer via the USB-C cable. Toggle 32-bit float recording via Mimo app.
- The DJI Mic 2 is capable of recording crisp audio at distances of up to 820′ using DJI’s encryption technology for secure communications.
- The optimized wireless transmission system ensures a stable and reliable stream of audio, even in busy areas, such as train stations, shopping malls, and offices.
- The system avoids interference from TV and radio waves by operating in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, which occupies frequencies beyond those of television, radio transmissions, and UHF wireless microphone systems.
- The receiver features both a built-in, expanded OLED touchscreen and onboard dial for easy configuration.
- View and adjust volume, gain, and channels to find the perfect settings of your surroundings. Battery life, recording status, and wireless signal strength are also displayed.
- An internal motor sends clear haptic feedback during key operations like powering on or off, internal recording, muting and unmuting, and noise cancellation activation or deactivation.

You can choose between two stylish transmitter colors: Shadow Black and Pearl White. [3] The Shadow Black adds a discreet, high-tech appearance to your Mic 2 setup, while Pearl White offers an elegant alternative for those seeking a chic colorway.
Clear Audio Recording, Pro-Caliber Results
Powerful Noise-Cancelling Performance
The new intelligent noise cancelling feature [4] effectively reduces environmental noise for clean, uninterrupted conversations, even in bustling urban areas or crowded rooms.
Try adding the windscreen to effectively reduce wind noise in windy or fast-moving scenarios.
Safety Track, Safeguard Your Audio
A second track can be recorded at -6dB alongside your main audio track to safeguard against unexpected audio level spikes. Even in highly complex, audibly chaotic environments such as a rock concert, DJI Mic 2 delivers balanced results with remarkable ease.
All-In-One, Ready to Use
DJI Mic 2 automatically powers on as you open the charging case. This smart case automatically pairs the receiver and transmitters while charging them, so you can get started as soon as you open it up. It also contains both USB-C and Lightning adapters, providing hassle-free setup with your preferred recording devices.
Unmatched Compatibility
DJI Mic 2 boasts a wide range of compatibility options from USB-C and Lightning digital outputs, as well as 3.5mm TRS analog output. Whether you're working with cameras, smartphones, computers, or tablets, DJI Mic 2 is ready to integrate. Stereo functionality is available for iPhone and most Android mobile phones, and also allows playback on a smartphone without the need to disconnect the receiver.
The receiver also features a dedicated 3.5mm TRS monitoring port, enabling real-time audio monitoring through your choice of 3.5mm earphones or headphones.
Effortless Touchscreen Operation
A 1.1-inch OLED touchscreen paired with a precision dial provides swift access to vital information like volume and battery level while also offering precise adjustments to parameters like gain, volume, brightness, and more. Achieve the optimal audio setup with unparalleled ease.
Portable Storage
The newly designed DJI Mic 2 Carrying Bag boasts a compact and sleek design with a convenient wrist strap for easy transportation. It can effortlessly accommodate all components included in the DJI Mic 2 (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) combo. A practical clamshell design ensures all accessories are neatly organized for quick and hassle-free access.
Ultra-Versatile Applications
A Recorder and Real-time Backup
Each transmitter has 8 GB of internal storage to store up to 14 hours of uncompressed 48kHz 24-bit audio. Export clips for post-production quickly and easily. The transmitters can also function as standalone voice recorders or serve as audio backups during filming. [5]
32-bit Float Internal Recording, Remarkable Range
With support for 32-bit float internal recording, DJI Mic 2 provides a high dynamic range that not only delivers high-quality recording but also adapts better to complex sound environments. It excels in capturing every nuance of a voice, from quiet whispers to booming decibel levels, providing greater reliability in erratic noise scenarios and more flexibility in post-production. [5]
Wireless and Reliable
Long Battery Life, Expanded Content Creation
Each transmitter and receiver has a remarkable 6-hour operating time, [6] which can be extended to a generous 18 hours with the charging case, making it ideal for livestreaming and video production demands. Additionally, when connected to a smartphone, the receiver's USB-C port can connect to a charging cable to charge both the phone and receiver.
